advice for projector father on helping his emotional manifesting generator teenage daughter, 6/2 profile trile split

Hi all, I'm feeling quite powerless in having any influence with my 14 yr old daughter in relation to her education, and wondered if anyone here might be able to offer me any advice.

She is a bright child and teachers all say she has the potential to do really well. In spite of this she also appears to have a self-destruct button where education is concerned - not paying attention, not learning, being disruptive etc, etc. It's not all bad as in some lessons she shines and the teachers can't praise her highly enough.

I know the issue is respect - she wants (and deserves) to be respected before she can be expected to give respect, but in the real world - especially 21st century education - this does not happen. A life lesson she has to learn is that sometimes you just have to bite your lip, count to 10 and do something you don't want to do.

The True Self

It is fascinating to see how the true Self is completely content and aligned with its Design. It operates through the Design effortlessly. It has no problem with splits or the dilemmas of the "not-self." From the point of view of your essence the not-self is just that - it does not exist, but you do. In Human Design we are not talking about "what you are like" because of this or that influence. We are speaking about unique beings and we are genuinely interested by what you have to say - as yourself. We are so used to thinking that we are what we are because of external influences that it is difficult to imagine what we are as a free being.

The tilt

I have seen posts that refer to the pelvic tilt. I need to learn to recognize my sacral response. I am a 4/6, Split-Definition, Sacral Expressed Generator with a defined Sacral, Spleen, Throat, and G center. Right angle cross of Maia. How can I know whether, when I get up to fix dinner, where and how my Sacral response informs me to do or not do that?

I listened to the Ra Manifesting Generator cd recently, and was stopped in my
tracks by an almost throw away 1-liner that he made at the end.

I'm a pure Manifesting Generator (which i learned on the cd meant that my sacral is directly
connected to my throat i.e. 34-20), but i've always struggled to make the grunting
noises! I've really paid attention, and just don't seem to grunt very much.

On the cd, Ra says - '20/34s are busy! This example of the pure manifesting
generator is different from all the others. Your sacral centre is quieted.
All the other generators can be in touch with their sacral sounds -

i've been studying my own, and my friends designs for a while now, and recently have just come across information about the planets and their meanings.

Saturn i found the most intriguing. For myself, it fits perfectly that when i'm not living
my authority, my addictions to food and sex get REALLY loud (both my uncon and con
saturn gates are 39.5)

I've tried to adapt the same saturn methodology for looking at my housemates design,
but am struggling to see how she pays for her not-self decisions in gate 45 (1st line uncon, 4th line con)

Does this mean she looses her 'Direction' (keynote for 45.4)?? Or would it be read more generically, that she freaks out and gets obsessed with her gathering together of resources??

The Design Calculation - A mathematical question

As an astrophysicist, (hence my interest in neutrinos, leptons, and the like) I have been through the math used to calculate a chart. Its actually not that complicated at all but it raises some questions.

The calculations for ones design being directly based on the planets locations approximately 88 days prior to our birth do not take into account where one was on the planet at this moment in time. How can this be explained? Mathematically the planets locations are irrelevant 88 days prior to birth without knowing where you were at this time. It changes EVERYTHING in your chart.

Anyone care to comment?

Super Nova 1987a occurred 51 days AFTER Ra's encounter! Who can explain?

Ra supposedly received his information from January 3 to January 11 in 1987. Why does the Human Design Community think this was linked to Super Nova 1987a?

Sorry I don't see any correlation with SN1987 at all. Neutrinos from SN 1987a were not detected until February 23, 1987, about 8 hours before visible light was detected--- 51 Days AFTER Ra's encounter!! This is well documented.

Anyone care to explain?
