Profile of a hypothetical person with only 6th lines
Hello,
I enjoyed this exercise. Sorry I did not present this in live class. I was so absorbed in reading the sixth-line keynotes and descriptive paragraphs in the reference book (The Complete Rave I'Ching) for each of the 6 role gates, that it took me much longer than the 5 minutes we had in the live class to put this together. Here is my final written paragraph. I am really starting to understand why profile provides an overview of a person's purpose in life:
This person would tend to behave as a role model, expressing norms through action rather than words. This person would tend to have an administrative attitude toward organizational, societal or any leaders in their life – for example they would likely expect power to be justly apportioned and they may have a tendency and ability to communicate and identify what responsibilities come with each position on a team. This person would be motivated by an optimistic hope that openness will lead to better relationships in their interactions with others – hence a very open person. This person’s direction in life would be to be objective and to contribute objectivity in any way they are able to contribute. This is their direction in life. This person probably has a tendency to be quite intimate with everyone, both in temporary and eternal relationships. This person likely has many more temporary interactions than long-term bonds. Sixth-line in the profile typically compels people to experience bonds with many different people, including temporary difficult or dangerous bonds with people, in order to experience the breaking down barriers - which may be important to current circumstances or projects. A characteristic of this person is that they may also tend to wish for perfected relationships. This would show itself in frequent dropping of friendships when they do not show potential for perfection, and moving on to create new friendships. This would also show itself by an acceptance of eternal friendships when this person experiences a truly excellent bond with someon. This person also tends to be slightly wary and aloof about entering into friendships and participating in activities, being quite realistic about their capacities, abilities and energy-levels. This does not mean an ungenerous person at all, but this person has a natural protection against abuse of generosity – hence a natural wariness and aloofness.

Delia – emotional manifesting generator – 6/2 profile – studied HD 3 years
Has seen that HD works practically and would like to do more
Analysis and to learn how to organize the information. In
Sydney.
Alissa – California – been in HD for a year now – 6/2 splenic projector –
went to Ibiza this year and recently did the Toronto Penta with
Ra which was really Amazing and is interested in continuing
education in the way that it’s been Prescribed.
Dale – took the ABC course. Has been sporadically studying on own for
about 8 months. Is a 4/6 emotional generator.
Debbie – Sydney – generator 4/6 – 1 year – Fantastic
Theresa – 3/6 emotional manifesting generator – did the ABC course last
year And have been learning for about a year now.
Dominique – emotional generator – in HD for one year – would like to go
deeper Into the practical things and organize things – 1/3 profile
so loves to learn and Be on the net with everyone learning.
Took the first cartography class on line.
Donna – emotional manifesting generator – been in design three or four
years – Comes in and out of HD on emotional waves and always
comes back to it Because it seems to hold unbelievable truths
that are very helpful. From New York
Mats – manifesting generator – 2/4 - started December last year – from
Sweden Looking for more in depth information. Works as a
professional astrologer And would like to be able to share greater
depth of information with clients.
Darshana – 3/5 Projector, splenic, did ABC and LD last fall. Has had a
change in Direction in life and thinks HD is the path to follow.
Focused on analyst Training and happy to start now. Is in
Copenhagen, Denmark.
Barbara – manifesting generator – 4/6 and into HD for 2 years.
Interested in Deepening knowledge to come off the roof safely.
From Germany
Nayla – Holland – started learning in February and it’s really cool – 6/2
emotional Generator, sometimes more emotional and crash than
other times.
Pat- Calgary, Alberta, Canada – Self-projected Projector – 2/4 – been
looking at HD for two years and practicing with it. It’s made a
huge difference in Pat’s Life and she feels much more satisfied
with who she is and a lot more Comfortable in her own skin and
it’s made a big difference to her and she’s Looking forward to
having more knowledge and organizing that better so that
She can encourage the people around her through readings and
knowing about Themselves and she’s so curious and HD is
something that’s really stuck with Her and she’s glad to be taking
the class.
Sarah – on the island studying right now – did the ABC class last term
and finds it Very helpful and is glad to be in the class
Tania – in London – introduced to HD two or three years ago through a
coaching client Of hers at the time who’s gone on to become an
analyst and has mainly spoken to Others who are working in
Design or interested in Design and hasn’t done any Former
training as of yet and is looking forward to refreshing some of
her Knowledge through reading and talking to others and
deepening the knowledge That she has for her own benefit and
also using HD to benefit her clients as a Coach and a therapist.
Yoshiko – in southern part of Japan – 3/5 Reflector – one year since has
known HD Knowledge – 28 day waiting process has shifted her
life and that has brought Her into the course and English is a
difficult language for her but she wants to Learn so that she can
help people and that’s why she’s taking the course.
Gennaro – Profiles are amazing! It is a simple and beautiful way of
seeing how you Interact with the world. We’re going to go
through each profile in tremendous Depth and we’re going to go
through the lines and everything! How does a Profile work for
you in your life? It’s such a simple thing, just those two little
Lines at the top and yet the way that it impacts our world is just
tremendous! I Mean the profile is just outrageous in its impact!

Alissa – It’s given me a lot of perspective on my life process. I’m a 6/2
and I’m still 3 roof face so it’s helped me to accept what I’ve
been through and see where I'm going.
Gennaro – So, Alissa, I have a question for you, if you had to say what
the profile is, in General terms what do you see profile as?
Alissa – I see the chart/the design, the vehicle for who you are and the
profile is the Trajectory through which that is moving. It’s your
role to play. It describes Your personality. Your characteristics.
It definitely gives you the most amount Of information, it
definitely is one of the most important components whenyou
Want to find out about someone’s Design.
Gennaro – Tania – You cay something quite interesting…You say that it’s a
way to Understand my learning style. It’s a way to understand
how you interact with The world.
Tania – yes, my profile is a 3/5 and what I mean by that is that it is trial
and error learning It’s as much about learning what doesn’t work
as what does. And I can see that Has played a big part in my
movement both personally and professionally as I Move through
life and the decisions that I’ve made to date.
Sarah – 5/1. Loves studying and anything that is in anyway unusual.
I’ve recently Read that the five is paranoid and the one is
insecure in the not self and I can definitely can relate to that.
Debbie – I’m a 4/6, it just gives me an understanding of how I operate
and what My purpose is in life and it is sort of to, as I get people
on my side, then I Can disseminate the information for the good
of others. It’s almost like Becoming a mentor or a role model or
a fount of wisdom and things like that and so it’s really
interesting how your profile works and the more you understand
how it works the more you understand yourself and how you
operate so I find it very, very informative and it gives me some
clues on how to progress in life for me.
Darshana – yea, understanding how I deal with the world, 3/5, and an
overall theme Of those I am with.
Pat – Yes, and when looking at other’s profiles it helps to see who they
are.
Donna – I would ditto what I said before. I’m an emotional 4/6 being and
I had a Near death experience in coming off the roof which was
really traumatic and There was nothing, no one that could explain
what had happened during that Period so I’m very grateful for HD
and helping me understand that I was not Off the wall completely
but what had happened to people when they come
Off the roof.
Nayla – 6/2 understands her hermit and coming off the roof next!
Dominique – 1/3 investigator – loves learning, bump into things and
people trials And errors is my life.
Mats – 2/4 really makes sense – a hermit and opportunist!
The “missionary waiting For the call”
Dale – It gives me an idea of how and why I interact with the world,
where I’m going And some comfort that if I follow my
type/authority, I’ll get there.
Theresa – 3/6 - well, it definitely helped me to understand the first thirty
years and Why things seem so much more challenging for me
than for others. ;o)
Nayla – It helps me understand my kids 3/5, but still find it difficult to
explain Positively.
Debbie – It is also about tolerating others and how they operate in the
world.
Nayla – met a 70 year old 3/5 that is still having difficulties and is still
knocking Into things.
Gennaro – Nayla, you mention that you are still having trouble knocking
into things As a 3/5, it’s my interpretation that the profile is, in a
very, very general way is Similar to your rising sign in astrology,
so for example, I’m Aquarius, Aries Rising so the Aries element
is how I interact with the world. And again, that’s A very, very
general analogy, don’t take it too seriously. But the profile, the
Way you process your interaction with other people, the way you
process the Information that you get and the interaction that you
have with the world and so Keep that in mind in terms of your
own profile and it’s very easy to see this. If You’re a second line
profile, the way that you interact with the world is a
Constant hide and seek. Where you’re being the hermit and
they’re coming And pulling you out and then you’re going out and
discovering that you’re Actually good at something and who
knew? And then you hide again. It’s this Whole back and forth
process and it’s this interaction that you have with the
World and if you have somebody else’s profile, it’s just so easy,
you don’t even Need to know their type to know how to deal with
them. Does that make sense?
Nayla – Not really. My son is a 3/5 and he is 15 years old and it’s difficult
to deal with him. I know That he has to bump into things.
Gennaro – but then you have the profiles that are not easy to deal with
like the 3/5 so My point is made. I’m joking a little bit,
nonetheless, the 3/5’s can be very Pessimistic and things are
always going wrong and throw in the fact that he’s
Fifteen and there you go. I have a 3/5 girlfriend who also drives
me nuts Sometimes, I think it’s also that the 3/5 are like that in
that they are the Trouble shooters in the sense that they will find
the problem and then they’ll Point it out to you and if the
problem is being made by you then it’s a little Bit of a bash on
the ego. Definitely the 3/5’s are here to point out the little
Things like that and to also the 3/5’s to me are the sandpaper
profile. I’m Just going to load an image, one second here…While
I’m doing this I’d like You to give us your own interpretation of
your own profile and I’ll start and I’ll give you an example of
what I’m looking for. I’m a 4/6 so it’s been very Clear for me.
I’ve always been described as Mr. Friendly but at the same time
I was always described as someone that was a little bit snobby;
that was the Word they used. Not exactly a compliment. That’s
the 4/6 so I was this guy That was this guy that was friendly but
a little bit snobby and I didn’t feel Really great about that. I was
like well I am really friendly but I really don’t Mean to be, I don’t
think that I’m better than you. But at the same time I
Just kept my distance and it was like I was just a little bit above
them and So that’s the 4/6 and they would come to me
sometimes.
Pat – Yes, I have a 3/5 in my life and it helps to know that about why his
life is The way it is
Debbie – I have a 3/5 son who drives me nuts sometimes.
Barbara – I am a 4/6 and I like to be in contact with friends. But my 6
line let me stay A little bit outside of everything. Coming off the
roof now is getting involved Again.
