I am familiar with this channel because I was raised up with this channel. My father has this channel and every once in a while he shared his dream when he drinking. I loved the air and energy at the time, late in the night, talk about life, dreams, and his was in the special mood. By the way he only share with me, not with my mother and sister because these 2 generator goes to bed early. Most of his dreams never come true but knowledge of Human design made me relief that sharing his dreaming is really successful. His dream doesn?ft need to be true. His dream made me travel around the world. I have moved and lived foreign country in few years in my life time. That was happen to me because my father sheared his dream. I have unconscious 17 gate and my sister have 62 gate conscious.
We speak so much time when we get together or phones. I speak with her more than anybody else including my husband. When we get really tuned to speak, we talk about lots of opinions, and social stuff like TV news and gossip. ?gDid you see that TV?f show??h ?gOh yes, Don?ft you think that was stupid? ?g Oh Yes, bra bra bra, so on and on and on.
But when we write e-mail, communication is only few words, ?gWhat are you doing??h ?gNothing?h. So our communication can only happen verbally.

I have several line 1 hexagrams. The 56 is both conscious and unconscious and also corresponds to my Jupiter/Uranus conjunct. This is the Wanderer, or Lu, as it is called in the I Ching. The channel is part of the collective sensing circuit. It is the gate of the expression of abstract ideas. Mine being a 1 indicates I am interested in the foundation, root of the matter. I tend to want to express ideas that are more fully developed, and I want to know the origins, the etymology, how it all pulled together in the first place to become what it is now. I am usually not satisfied with knowing or understanding a system, such as HD, on its own premises. Hence, in order to fully grasp HD, I want to analyze its roots, astrological, Jungian, I-Ching and otherwise. This is also what has carried me in my mental journeys to study ancient and modern religions and spiritual beliefs, not to mention quantum mechanics because physics has begun to corroborate so much of what the ancients understood to be true. At the same time, I would add that what is ancient must usually be re-defined to some extent to fully adapt to the present. New energies are continually coming forth. The synergy of several wisdom teachings combined will create something entirely new. The sum of the whole is greater than the parts. So it appears to be with HD, though I am just beginning to learn it.

The Rave I Ching further comments that line 1 of this gate is the design of "Expression of practical ideas that have value". This reinforces the fact that for me, what is of value builds upon the historical context. Because we are all connected, everything has a larger story. It is the larger story I want to understand and tell. This gate at line 1 also indicates that "short term activities have value", while the gate as a whole encompasses ideas at stepping stones along the path, which are not viewed as necessarily complete in themselves, there is always more to the story that remains to be lived (and understood, expressed, written). It is true that I enjoy brainstorming, expressing ideas and getting responses and responding in kind. No offense taken, none intended, just a good and enjoyable turning of abstract ideas to understand their meanings, the very process of expression bringing the fullness of understanding to light. It has been proven that talking things out helps people to become aware of what they are thinking and feeling. This gate appear to epitomize the need for this process. I am very much in need of people to bounce ideas off of and sometimes just be a sounding board. I also try to do that for others, though not necessarily simultaneously. My friends know there are times when I need to talk something out and they are people I can count on to listen and whose responses are either helpful to my understanding, or are responses that come from their own understanding which may be different but because I know them well I enjoy seeing their own processes take shape.

Along these lines, I appreciated the extra reading in the introduction, written by Kate D'Imperio. There are several traditional interpretations of the Yin that will not fully satisfy new levels of consciousness, as Kate points out. Yin is active, though differently than the yang. This is difficult for our Western minds to grasp. Yin is receptive, which is in fact another form of activity, just not one we in the West give much credit to (reflecting the western culture's male-dominated, "Yang-dominated" bias). Yin is the inner, the individual, Yang is the outer, the extraverted and collective. Together the Yin/Yang create stillness when fully realized. It can be hard to put Yin into words in western tongues.

I am wondering what difference it makes where in the body the two crystals of our biverse have been assigned. What are the ramifications of the Personality crystal being in the head center, and the Design in the ajna? It will be interesting to see.

The duality of our design is something I have felt and sensed. It seems to be something that is picked up on in the Myers Briggs personality measurement - there are 4 categories and two modalities within each category - for example, one might have a thinker or a feeler orientation - in rare cases one might be both - and the conscious and the unconscious may be corresponding to this in some way - this would create a tension between the two parts at times, one has one strategy and the other, another. THere is a tug and a pull in both directions at once, like the push-me/pull-you of Dr. Doolittle's times. However, the realization and understanding that this is happening then helps alleviate some (though never all) of the tension and allows one to choose which of one's personal leanings/gifts to use as appropriate or just simply desired. This can be a great tool for helping one to "go with the flow."

Jung also comes to mind - the magnetic monopole pulling together the conscious and unconscious, the mapping of the both. The conscious self as the Personality/Witness is similar to Jung's definition of ego as the Administrative Asst who thinks she or he is in charge. While the unconscious self as the Vehicle/Body/Genetic Design smacks of Jung's unconscious self with its archetypal wellspring. The upwelling of the unconscious as it intrudes into consciousness and the resolution of these forces, all very Jungian. Through my study of Jung, and now Human Design, I like to think of the Self as much larger and greater than what I could ever grasp consciously, and yet I can sense my greater Self. I view the following of the lead of the magnetic monopole by following the strategy appropriate to my design as the path to embodiment of my True Self, what Deepak Chopra and Kabat-Zinn would call living in mindfulness, what Ram Dass might call being here now.

I can only think what fun Jung might have had with this model. To me it is very indicative of our times that this channelled information comes to provide us with greater light, another step along the path of the evolution of our consciousness. Meanwhile, I am hopeful to have found a powerful tool for living more authentically.

Gennaro's comments : if jung is in fact right about the collective unconsious, then he had access to HD but just not in as clear terms as we do. there are meny systems out there that hold peices of HD. most notably the yin/yand duality of life. that is a very common and true one.

Both a friend and my goddaughter have the 44/26, Transmitter Channel under the Ego Circuitry. For my friend, it is completely conscious. For both of them, it is critical that we have an egalitarian exchange of energy - in this case the concept of money or payment for work is fulfilled in the form of barter. Because it's not my true nature, since I don't have the full channel, I've come to see that this is what works with them and since I have the 44, I so have some feel for doing things this way. So when my friend wants me to help her with some information or a reading, she offers to do something for me. I cannot always count on either one to reciprocate unless I ask, however, once asked, they immediately comply, as if to say "of course, that is the way things are done." I only learned this recently, when I finally started asking, because it used to be that they both would simply take all I could give. This is probably because of other circuitry issues that I don't yet fully understand.

Also, both of them love essential oils (so do I so maybe that's more in association with the 44).

I have the 32/54, the channel of transformation, another Ego Channel and for me totally unconscious. My work is that of transformation, and when I am successful, it is usually through the process of transforming something, seeing the diamond in the rough. I also teach seminars on manifesting abundance and have often experienced the manifestation of abundance personally through an understanding of the principle of transformation. This has always been with the support of others, those of like mind, those who are living in their own abundance. I surmise that this circuit may be interacting with the fact that I have the 14th gate consciously, the gate of possession in great measure, although this is part of a different circuit. I see wealth as a physical manifestation of spirituality. Appropriately, in Hawaiian, the word for fresh water is "wai" and the word for wealth is "waiwai" - to me and to the tribal mentality, wealth, success and abundance spring forth as an overflow from within.

Gennaro's comments : yes good. the 26-44 is the most in your face about wanting a clean exchange. i give you this, you give me that. they are great allies at transmitting things to the tribe, like information.

Tribal Ego Circuit: Phil 44-26

My roommate is a young, single definition, Emotional Manifesting Generator, with a 3/5 profile. He has recently completed a college degree in marketing/advertising, and is very “into” style. He is infatuated with advertising/marketing on TV, billboards, magazines, posters, etc., and considers the advertising/marketing field to be in the forefront of current creativity. He has no hesitation to “sell” anything to anyone, and he has the ability. I have watched him try to interest people in some thing or another (a movie, a brand of shoe, a magazine) and shift his emphasis effortlessly when he detected any opposition to what he was saying. He certainly has a “gift” for working with people; I would say an instinctual gift from watching him in action at his work (while he is looking for more permanent work, he is currently a “salesperson” at a high end sports supply store), where he is considered the best salesperson in the store.
I ran his chart recently and discovered that he has the 44-26, the Channel of Surrender, a design of a Transmitter, also known as the Channel of the Entrepreneur. I asked him to look at the chart, explained the 44-26 and let him read the information in the circuitry book, and he immediately identified with it. He was especially impressed with the comment, “their aim is to be paid more for doing less, while remaining just as effective”. He told me this has been his mantra since he was 15 years old, in almost the exact words.
Although only part of the channel (44) is “conscious”, in personality, while the 26 is “unconscious”, in design, and he had never seen his chart before, he has obviously moved in the direction of his Design. He found it very encouraging to have his interests explained and verified in his Design.
As an addendum, I personally know of only one other chart I’ve run (out of app. 60) that has the 44-26 channel. That person runs an advertising/marketing sign company…

Gennaro's comments : as long as they understand it is all about creating a win/win deal with others that is mutually suportive then they should be very happy with their careers.

My dad has this, 1/2 consciously (the 18 side)and 1/2 unconsciously. He is a Generator, 5/2.

He "judges" all the time, in a really helpful way. He is always aiming to make stuff better. And this is always by drawing attention to the worst part of it.

He is a TOTAL perfectionist, especially at work, famous/infamous for it. Just when you think you've found the best record/book or anything, he's like, yeah it was great, but I didn't like the part where..... And then when he offers these pieces of judgment people sit back, and totally agree with him, and adopt these "judgments" as their own opinions, me included. Consequently, people are always getting him to review things.

His insatiability lies in his perfectionism. Anything ever produced to him is always Fantastic, but why don't you change this, or that. Even though he draws attention to negative details, he is not a negative person because he always seems to see the good first and then focus on the things needing changed. He is very very sure of his tastes, what he likes and what he doesn't like are in two completely separate piles, there's no "middle pile".

Gennaro's comments : since this is collective, these people are best when they can SHARE thier correction collectively. it can be a problem when they share it with you personally (you look fat), but collectively it is great (we should exercise more at this place)

Ego Manifestor

21-45 Money Line, Design of a Materialist.

This person has the will and commitment to express herself and manifest. She has had several succesfull businesses that she manifested on her own, through the strength of her will. She works best on her own, and brings her results to the 'tribe'. There is a strong sense of tribal sharing in her.
She does not have definition in either the sacral or solar to provide the strategy of waiting. When she follows the not-self, and leads without informing, she meets with resistance, judgement and anger from others.

My boyfriend Steven has this channel. He is a Projector with a 1/3 profile. His profession is a combination of massage, Structural Integration, , hypnotherapy, and intuitive process bodywork. He has also been teaching his work for 15 years. He is extremely intuitive and the expression of that awareness is very clear. He is very good at processing information quickly and sharing the wisdom. It's not like he even needs to think about what is being said, it's as though the Divine speaks through him. This is very empowering for Steven and it also empowers and inspires everyone around him.

Integration Channel: Perfected Form 57/10

Individuation / the Descent into Form

This is a channel that my grandfather had. He was a emotional Generator, 5/1 Profile, on the Left Angle Cross of Migration. He had the 57th gate in the Personality, and the 10th gate in the Design.

What I remember most was the clarity and sharpness of his mind and the impossiblity of moving him from his convictions. The 57th Gate was conscious and he was indeed designed not to be influenced by others, and did have selective hearing. He believed himself to be a man of honor, with a strong awareness of self, living the perfecting of his form.

He was intuitively creative, building a large, successful farming business while hand-cultivating his garden at his house with delicately scented roses.

Individual Centering Circuit: Channel of Initiation: 25 – 52:

This person is a 14 year old Ego Manifestor, with a 5/1 Profile. His only other defined channels are the 43 – 23, and the 31 – 7. His growth is stunted, and he is currently the height of an 8 to 9 year old (he had growth hormone injections earlier, to little positive good), which causes much bullying, although I have never ever known him to back down from a fight.
Although his short stature would normally prevent him from playing sports, he often challenges himself and is very competitive in all sports, and in everything else he does. Due to his small stature he often does not come in “first” in sports, and this gives way to rage and bitterness. Fortunately, he also has interests outside the physical, and his science projects and entomology presentations (he’s infatuated with insects and reptiles) often receive wide praise. He appears driven to "come in first", and is not satisfied with anything else.
He is my youngest nephew, and I’ve often been intrigued, during my once yearly visits, watching him outside, in his neighborhood, surrounded by 5 –10 neighbors his age or older, organizing them into some bizarre game he has made up. To watch this small kid “tell” these older/bigger boys what to do, and then see them follow his orders, has always been intriguing to me. He definitely has a presence.
He is also a very confused young person, has had many many behavioral problems in and out of school, and often feels bitterness and rage. I believe much of this is due to not "knowing who he is"/following not-self strategy, and I have offered to help pay for a reading for him (he is close in my heart) without success so far (his mother is willing, but they are in flux now, having lost their home in New Orleans recently…).

Gennaro's comments - i'm sorry to hear this. his stunted growth is a poingnant analogy for what so many manifestors suffer - being held back and punished for their incorrect actions. the best thing you could do is stress to the parents the importance of him learning manners and the power that comes from presenting things in a pleasing way. you don't change what you do, you just say it nicer.

Keynote: An archetype

This channel is called Design of an Archetype. I think that it is a very primitive design. It is kind of very original as human being. Human being had to defend them and other people by intuition, and to live through in the wild nature. This channel that connects the Sacral center to the Spleen center is Generated Channel and it shows strengthening an intuitive living ability.

The person (one of my client) who has this channel has seemingly generous nature.
I was very surprised that she has all of Integration Channel when I saw her chart.
When I was talking with her very much, I could know that she has the directionality of herself and she is interested in strengthening herself always.
She, the person who has 57-34 channel inherently knows herself is adapted to the environment at once, and be able to enjoy the place even in the first place.

I took several students and clients that including her to Arizona this year.
Then, there was time that I couldn't look after and guide them because I had to do other work for 4~5 hours. They went to shop while I was working. So, I worried a little because Arizona was first place for them. 　But, they finished shopping and were able to come back safely. They weren't lost. They seem to have been able to avoid dangerous place well. (Perhaps, there might be some person who has channel or working gate from G center in another in them.)
