CURVING THE BODYGRAPH
As I am a heretic already may I mention something heretical?
I always found the body graph too cartesian - too angular, too masculine, too awkward. Some time ago I attempted to round the corners and flow the shapes together.
The bodygraph is clearly a three dimensional structure. Six centres are aligned vertically upwards with three encircling it.
The symmetry is slightly skewed - in that on the left side four gates cross over in an unsual crossroads that is still not a centre as such. On the right the four corresponding (mirror image) gates cross over in a centre - the ego or heart centre - which has four gates within it.
Overall there are 64 gates to fit the 64 YiJing hexagram and the 64 DNA codons. But the human body is soft and sensual and curved with natural curves that I call Bezier curves after the swiss mathematician Paul Bezier. Bezier curves are the basis of Adobe software (Photoshop, pdf and Adobe pdf Reader, and all modern fonts and typefaces).
So creating a softer flowing bodygraph, which might offend Ra, and might offend The Voice, or not, it could be possible, but it would be a work of heresy, aesthetics, and art, yet still scientific. Such a juicy aroma!
The mind is not to be trusted. The mind oversimplifies and the mind has taken control of us by military coup, it is not designed to be in charge and must soon surrender to it's natural place, as a dog (as Ra might put it). One aspect of the mind that my guts really dislike, as a responder (Generator), is all those straight lines and those nasty sharp corners.
I have to say, I pose this as a puzzle, and yes, my head centre is open, as with 70% of all our species. So I and 70% of us will be obsessed with ideas that do not matter. Sure the bodygraph does the job and it does not matter to "improve" it by curving the lines.
I just wish another Voice would spring up and show us a more curvaceous, lovely, version of the bodygraph. Or failing that, some artist with a great grasp of science, and too much free time, would dissolve it into greater beauty. Surely some plasticine and pipe cleaners would be the place to start...
Sorry to trigger your empty (=undefined, or white) head centres, my gate 63 poses the questions you know, I know, uhuh...

3D bodygraph
well! the neutrino soup has been at work!! I was musing on exactly this half an hour ago in bed, before I woke up, read my email and dropped in on the forum... The graphic designer in me feels invited...
I don't mind the straight lines actually. Or lack of symmetry.
The EGO centre, in my mind's eye (aha, the old mind! 64/47) sits above the plane of the other centres. The three awareness centres - spleen, throat, emotional sp - form the base of a triangular pyramid; and the ego centre is the pyramid's peak. It sits directly above the G centre; and the 25/51 drops down, like a plumbline, from the centre of the ego to the centre of the self. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
This leaves the weird four-way 57.34.10.20 hookup hanging out there on the left. It's kludge. It's asymmetrical. It's not a centre, it's not a channel. There's no clean switching or division. It's a mystery. Who knows how it's supposed to work? How it might actually sit, in an actual space??
I like it :) It's cool :)
However, being sympathetic to your prompting for a more sensual or organic map, and exploring ideas... I can't see how it would come about (if I ignore the option of merely decorative tweaks like round corners, flexed connections, wiggly roads; or animation; or icons for the centres which have some representational or more distinct symbolic significance). The graph is essentially a connection map between nodes.
The only route that holds up is the neutrino route. Acknowledge that everything is fuzz. soup. auras pulsing & shining. fields and waves blurring with fields and waves - until something steps into them - which means all the time, every moment of existence for all time - and then, as quantum phenomena - 'things' 'click!' into existence at a point in hyperspace, cartesian space, whatever, as discrete 'things'. Mmnnn, a fun picture - hyperfuzz, hypersoup!! with zillions of quantum alphabet noodles??
But try to literally 'picture' this? NO way! 2D space will not hold it. The only possible ways - 'scuse my stroppy defined throat for a moment - are maths (quantum mechanics) which is well beautiful to theoretical physicists but means damn all to mere mortals; and a mandala: everything in one.
How about a mandala DWD?
Anyway, that's my two-pennorth. Many thanks for the invitation, and the trip :)
Anybody else got visual feelings about this? or vibrations?
