i've been studying my own, and my friends designs for a while now, and recently have just come across information about the planets and their meanings.

Saturn i found the most intriguing. For myself, it fits perfectly that when i'm not living
my authority, my addictions to food and sex get REALLY loud (both my uncon and con
saturn gates are 39.5)

I've tried to adapt the same saturn methodology for looking at my housemates design,
but am struggling to see how she pays for her not-self decisions in gate 45 (1st line uncon, 4th line con)

Does this mean she looses her 'Direction' (keynote for 45.4)?? Or would it be read more generically, that she freaks out and gets obsessed with her gathering together of resources??

anyone have any great interpretations of how this could be read??

Here it is what I ussualy do with transits and their meanings:
I went and study each planetary energy. You can do this very successfully if you use Astrology. There is no need to study all astrology. There is no need to learn astrological chart intrpretation. Just studying the nature of each energy correlated with each planet.
Astrology is a very ancient knowledge and the good astrologers (not the ones in magazines) have fantastic insights on the correlation of these cosmic energies in the human psyche.
Once you know what sort of energy you are dealing with, you can have a look at the gate the planet is in HD.
I am sure it will help a lot.
