CROSSING THE STREAM

Once upon a time there was a woman who wanted to cross a wide and rapid stream. The stream was too wide, too deep, and too rapid for her to safely wade across. As the woman stood by the stream she could look across and see the exact point where she thought she wanted to go. She paced back and forth across the banks of the stream, frustrated and confused about how to get to the other side.

As she stood alone at the edge of the stream, a gentle voice spoke to her and told her to look at the water. Before her very eyes, a beautiful large round, smooth river rock appeared in the water, just the right distance away for her to step on safely from the bank of the creek.

PROFILE

There are twelve different profiles in the Human Design system. We derive profile from the lines of the gates in your conscious and unconscious Sun sign. The Sun sign is the first sign on a chart under the "Design" and "Personality" columns. Profiles tell you about major life themes that you will encounter, and they illustrate another way in which your personality interacts with the world. Everyone comes into the world with a specific profile and purpose. Knowing your profile can help you see some of the themes that you will encounter as you move toward fulfilling your purpose.

Each number in a profile has a specific meaning. The first number in your profile is an element of your personality that you will be consciously aware of. The second number in the profile may be unconscious and more hidden from you.

You will have perhaps come to appreciate that something is very different in your life and in how things work for you. You have an extraordinarily unique Design chart in that there are no fixed Channels and therefore no defined Centers in your chart, which is why all nine of your Centers are white. Most people have two or more Centers colored in, creating a definition or “set”, distinct way of relating to the world.

You are like a walking mirror – reflecting the world and others in it back to themselves. You give other people direct reflections of themselves through how you appear to interact with them. In your natural and balanced form, you are literally reflecting their world and everyone in it back to them through your nine undefined Centers.

It's become increasingly difficult for me to find free information out there (or even reasonably priced information) about Human Design as a beginner student.

Years ago (2006) I remember there were more websites and places to get charts done; and there were charts with more information on them than the ones currently available at the Jovian Archive. I did post a ton of information on Myspace, but since that time they have even changed their format. Their html codes have changed and because of that, so did my blog posts. I have no gone through and reposted everything on a more current blog at:
